Man Robbed At ATM, One Arrested

One person has been arrested after a man was robbed Sunday night.

According to Colorado Springs Police, two men wearing dark clothes and masks robbed a man who had just withdrawn money from an ATM at Wells Fargo Bank on 4151 N. Academy Blvd. One of the suspects put a pistol to the back of the victim and demanded his money. The suspects fled on foot and were chased by a witness.

As they left the scene, one of the suspects dropped a black pistol which was a BB/pellet gun. They entered a grey car driven by a third person.

Police locate the abandoned car at a nearby bowling alley.

The owner of the car, 19-year-old Sloan Gross, was found on foot near the scene of the robbery and was arrested on charges related to the robbery.

The investigation is ongoing.
