Sound Off: Memorial Hospital’s Future

The City’s Memorial Health System Task Force hosts an e-Town Hall meeting from 1 – 7 p.m. in the City Hall City Council Chambers. Citizens were given the opportunity to ask questions about the different proposals submitted for the future lease and operation of Memorial Health System.

The biggest points of concern for citizens we talked to are the potential for collaboration, the benefit to the economy and the potential job loss or gain that comes with the decision.

Centura Health, University of Colorado Health System, Memorial Health System, HCA – Health ONE LLC and Sisters of Charity of Leavenworth Health System all presented Wednesday.
