Traffic Alerts Week Of Nov. 14th
There are several road closures this week around Colorado Springs due to construction.
One lane of northbound I-25 will be closed over South Academy Blvd Tuesday and Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Some slowing should be expected through this area as crews repair the bridge deck.
Flaggers will also be stopping traffic on various locations on northbound and southbound State Highway 83 from Walden Way to County Line Rd from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Delays up to five minutes are expected while crews seal cracks to prevent water intrusion and pavement deterioration.
The left lane of westbound U.S. 24 just before I-25 will be closed on Wednesday. The right lane of westbound U.S. 24 will be closed just west of Peterson Blvd on Thursday. Both closures will be from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for guardrail repairs.
Motorists are reminded to pay attention in work areas and follow all work-zone signs and flaggers.
