Burglar Suspect Nabbed Friday Morning

Colorado Springs police arrested a man early Friday morning on suspicion of burglary.

It happened in the 4200 block of Galley Road shortly before 2:30 Friday morning.

Residents of the apartment complex caught the man and restrained him until police arrived.

Police arrested Gustavo Camp, 29, on suspicion of second degree burglary.

Police said they found several items stolen from a woman’s bedroom. The woman was apparently asleep at the time, police said.

Police tell KRDO Newschannel 13 the woman woke up when Camp lifted the blanket that covered her.

The woman told police she alerted her roommates and they grabbed Camp and restrained him until police arrived.
