Multiple Burglaries Solved In Pueblo West

An anonymous tip led the Pueblo County Sheriff’s Office to resolve six to eight known burglaries.

On September 8th, deputies received information that several birth certificates and social security cards had been found. These items had been reported stolen in a burglary that recently occurred in Pueblo West.

Officers obtained a search warrant for a home on the 100 block of E. Homer Drive in Pueblo West. On scene they identified and recovered thousands of dollars in property that match stolen items in the area.

Two 28-year-olds, Jeffrey Shenefelt and Janet Ralya, are both being held at the Pueblo County Jail on charges unrelated to this case. Multiple charges will be forwarded to the District Attorney’s Office. Future arrests are possible as the investigation continues.
