ABC Axes 2 Popular Daytime Soaps
The ABC network announced Thursday afternoon they have cancelled two longtime running soaps.
The network said “All My Children” and “One Life To Live” have gotten the ax.
“All My Children” will end in September. The last episode of “One Life To Live” will air in January 2012.
The soaps will be replaced by a pair of talk shows, a food-style show called, “The Chew,” and a makeover show called, “The Revolution.”
AMC premiered on ABC on Jan. 5, 1970. OLTL made its debut on July 15, 1968.
