Water Main Break In Security Closes Widefield Dr.
SECURITY – A water main break has closed a local road in Security and is causing some flooding concerns in these frigid temperatures.
Utility workers on scene tellNEWSCHANNEL 13Widefield Dr. is closed from Inca Drive to Acoma Drive.The biggest problem caused by this break is on Main Street between Norman and Aztec where blowingwinds have caused near zero visibility fordrivers.
El Paso County plows are in the area trying to plow the slush away, but the next concern is flooding.
Crews are still working to shut off the water.
