PUEBLO – Add another arrest Thursday night in the murder investigation of a Pueblo cab driver.

The latest suspect taken into custody is seventeen years old, and Pueblo police have not released his name, but he is being held on suspicion of first degree murder.

He’s the second minor arrested in connection with the shooting, which happened in the early morning hours of October 30th, and he becomes the sixth person overall arrested for the murder of City Cab driver David Chance.

Already in custody are 19 year-old Maximo Ramos, 19 year-old Bridget Terrones, 21 year-old Olin Ferrier, and 24 year-old Matthew Koncilja.

Koncilja is the grandson of the district attorney’s chief investigator, John Koncilja Jr., a fact that has prompted D.A. Bill Thiebaut to seek a prosecutor from an outside jurisdiction to handle the case.

Chance was found dead behind the wheel of his cab in the early morning hours of October 30, on East 11th Street. At this stage, Police are looking at the possibility that robbery was the motive, and it’s possible that the two teens inside the cab fled to another vehicle that was waiting as a getaway.

According to Pueblo police, the investigation is ongoing, and it’s possible that more arrests may still be on the way.
