Three Dead In House Explosion
LITTLETON – Three people were killed in an explosion and fire that destroyed a home in Littleton early Sunday. The three victims were reportedly between 18 and 24 years old.
Two other people were severely hurt in the fire. One of the survivors suffered burns over 70% of his body. One person escaped the fire unhurt. Early reports that more people may have been trapped inside turned out to be unfounded, and everyone has been accounted for.
The fire broke out around 3:30 a.m. Two nearby homes were also damaged. Firefighters don’t know what caused the blaze.
