Part Of Airport Terminal Evacuated

COLORADO SPRINGS – A portion of the terminal at the Colorado Springs Airport is evacuated when passengers gathered at a baggage claim area suddenly report feeling sick. Few details are available, but reports indicate firefighters who responded were unable to detect any significant problem.

Part of the baggage terminal area was evacuated as a precaution. Reports indicate passengers described what happened as if some sort of pepper spray was released, but firefighters have not been able to detect that type of release.

It is not known if anyone has been sent to the hospital.
