Enjoy free entry at all National Parks on August 25

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) - All National Parks are offering free entry on Tuesday, August 25 in honor of the National Park Service's 104th birthday.

Colorado has four National Parks:

  • Rocky Mountain
  • Great Sand Dunes
  • Black Canyon of the Gunnison
  • Mesa Verde

A day pass usually runs for about $25 dollars at the Colorado national parks with the exception of Mesa Verde which is $15-$20 depending on the time of year.

A reminder that reservations are still required to get into Rocky Mountain National Park. You can make a reservation here.

The next free entrance day will be on September 26 in honor of National Public Lands Day.
