COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- With another hot weekend ahead before cooler temperatures next week, it's a great time to pick the last of the plants from this year's crop.

Out in Steve's garden, there's still a few peppers on the vine, and there is another round of salsa on the way. Even if you aren't ready to make something quite yet, the peppers need to get off the vine while they're healthy.
