Steve’s Garden: Second salsa taste of the year, not stopped by squirrel attacks

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- Recent squirrel friends in Steve's Garden who have been suspected to eat his tomatoes couldn't stop the second edition of the salsa taste test.

Despite hot conditions, heat and smoke, Steve was able to produce enough tomatoes and cilantro to make a delicious salsa for anchors Heather Skold and Danny Mata to try. The rest of the newsroom approved too.

Steve says the secret to a good salsa is to roast all the ingredients before mixing them together. A third salsa taste test should be coming soon.
