High School Football in the fall? The season could start the first week of October

With each day it appears as if we are getting closer to having high school football in the fall. What the KRDO Newschannel 13 sports department has heard is that the CHSAA board will be voting or has voted on whether or not to ball in the fall. If the season does kickoff in the fall, teams would start practicing on September 21st and games would begin October 1st. The season will be a seven week just like the one they currently have scheduled for spring.

Governor Polis said today that in his most recent conversations with CHSAA that he believes that there's some opportunity for football to be played in the fall for the school districts that are ready.
