Max Lofy of Pine Creek signs letter of intent to play football at Wisconsin
Pine Creek football player Max Lofy capped a sensational season with the Eagles by officially signing to play football with the Wisconsin Badgers, "It was like nothing I've ever experienced before. It's the real deal. Everyone talks about going to school or committing and then once you sign that paper and then it's official. You can't go back from there. It's an exciting feeling," says Lofy.
Lofy's seniot year couldn't have gone much better, between winning the state title a couple of weeks back and signing with Wisconsin. It's been a long journey but now he's achieved his dream, "It's about hard work and trusting your coaches. I'm super thankful to come to a place like Pine Creek where they instill that kind of mindset here. And enjoy the moment. Enjoy what you're doing and work as hard as you can every day," says Lofy.
Lofy set a goal to play college football when he was ten years old. It's one thing to say it. It's another to do it, "Everyone talks about playing football in college. When you actually get the chance and some offers start rolling in, and you put the pen to paper, it gets real. The journey has been crazy. It's a bunch of hard work and truly believing in yourself. You can do anything if you stay consistent and put your mind to it," says Lofy.
