Road widening project underway in Pueblo West

has started work that will widen a section of road in pueblo west. the project would widen a four mile stretch of north purcell boulevard. the road is a main haul road for trucks carrying pipeline and materials for the s-d-s. but this project isn’t only to increase the flow of traffic for hauling trucks… this road widening would make north purcell a safer road to for drivers. we’ll also be adding widened shoulders for better safety. and dedicated right turn lanes at the major roadways the collector roads in the stretch. the project will cost almost five million dollars, and will be funded by money from utilities, as part of a s-d-s agreement. a group from the colorado
