Salvation Army puts on back-to-school shopping spree
The Salvation Army helped Colorado Springs kids in need pick out some clothes on Saturday for the fast approaching school season.
One hundred lucky students, with the help of 100 volunteers and $100, got the chance to take part in a shopping spree.
The Citadel Mall Sears opened its doors early so they could get all of the back-to-school fashions they needed.
The Salvation Army holds the event each year before school begins. If you’d like to make a donation, you can drop off items for the Salvation Army at 908 Yuma Street.
