Colorado Springs shooting victim identified
Colorado Springs Police have released the name of a woman who was found shot to death late Tuesday night. She was Alexandra Matthews, 43, of Colorado Springs.
The shooting happened late Tuesday night in the 4600 block of Newton Drive, near Hancock and Chelton on the southeast side.
Police were called at 10:54 p.m. on reports of a gunshot at a home.
Police say there is no known threat to the community.
