American flags retired by students at South High in Pueblo

A special ceremony was held today (05/06/16) in Pueblo, to retire some American flags.

Worn and tattered flags were retired this morning at South High School.

The ceremony involved the Pueblo South JROTC.

Guests were given a strip of “old glory”, and placed them into a controlled burn pit.

It’s considered an *honorable* way to retire an American flag.
