Evening commute in Woodland Park snowy and wet

We were in Woodland Park Thursday afternoon at the intersection of Highway 24 and State Highway 67 and what we saw was characteristic of the storm so far where the snow is sticking to the grass but luckily not to the roads.

The snow alternated between light and heavy all afternoon. Still, it wasn’t enough to keep one group from coming out and showing their support for a cause that was dear to their hearts.

The roads were wet, and as we all know, what is wet can become frozen overnight once temperatures start to drop.

But as they’ve shown time and time again, Teller County people are prepared for any type of weather even though some are ready for it to start acting more like spring and less like winter.

One resident told us “I am done with the snow! I am ready for some sunshine.”
