Five years later, no answers for family of missing Colorado Springs mom

Thursday marked five years since Deborah Heriford vanished.

Heriford, who was 51 at the time, failed to show up for work on March 31, 2011. She worked as a crossing guard for Academy School District 20.

Heriford’s dog was found wandering a few blocks from her home on the north side of the city.

Police say the disappearance is considered suspicious and foul play is suspected.
