Lane closures scheduled this week for Cimarron

Officials are warning drivers of impending lane closures near downtown Colorado Springs this week.

CDOT says they will close Cimarron lanes for work on the upcoming Cimarron Interchange project near I-25.

Every night beginning at 7 p.m. single eastbound and westbound lanes will close on Cimarron.

Officials will also close the on and off ramps toward Cimarron from I-25 beginning at 9 p.m.

The lanes will reopen by 5 a.m. the next morning.

These closures are scheduled until Thursday morning.
