Girl at center of Lakewood Amber Alert found safe
A girl that was reported missing out of Lakewood this morning has been found.
Angelina San Andres had last been seen around 7:30 a.m. in the 12100 block of W. Nevada Drive. She was found just before 1 p.m.
Lakewood Police said she went outside to wait for her brother to pick her up for school. Her brother says that when he arrived, her backpack was there but his sister was gone.
San Andres’ cell phone was found in a nearby park.
Police say San Andres was found at a nearby Walmart and says she doesn’t know how she got there.
