St. Patrick’s crowd packs downtown
The 32nd annual St. Patrick’s Day parade took place in Colorado Springs Saturday afternoon.
Thirty thousand people were at the parade. People started lining up early to get their perfect spot to watch the parade.
There were 100, entries including cars, floats, bikes and bands.
Many people used the parade as a starting point to kick off other St. Patrick’s Day activities.
“It’s just our first stop. We’re going to watch the parade and then see what else downtown has to offer.” said Kelsey Smalley, a parade-goer.
There was also a St. Patrick’s Day bike ride and run in the city Saturday morning.
