Gate reopens after security concern investigated at Air Force Academy

The Air Force Academy says the north gate reopened for normal business hours Thursday after it was closed due to a security concern Wednesday night.

We’re told a police dog alerted security to a potential threat.

Following standard procedure, the gate was closed and the area was secured and searched.

Nothing dangerous was found.
