St. Mary Corwin receives recognition
St. Mary Corwin Medical Center received the Blue Distinction center for maternity care honor from Blue Cross Blue Shield.
The hospital is evaluated on many measures, including delivering quality and affordable care.
“We’re doing it in a way when patients leave, they are saying, yes, I had a great experience, I would come back to have another baby,” said Paulette Mapes, the clinical manager of The Birth Place at St. Mary Corwin.
St. Mary Corwin is the only provider in the Pueblo market to receive this distinction.
