Pueblo firefighter receives heartfelt thanks from dog he rescued
A Pueblo firefighter received a heartfelt thank you from a dog he helped rescue from a structure fire Monday.
The Pueblo Fire Department posted a pair of reunion photos between a very lucky dog and Fire Engineer Phil Chapin. The pictures show the happy pooch wagging its tail and embracing Chapin.
Chapin found the dog while responding to a blaze in the 900 block of Abriendo.
“The dog was resuscitated with special equipment donated to the department by Southern Colorado Kennel Club,” according to the post.
