Friend says he spent Thanksgiving with Planned Parenthood shooting victim

A friend of Ke’Arre Stewart tells us they met more than a decade ago during a tour in Iraq.

Tony Fisher says they served together in 2003 and 2004 and that they became close in the last few months after they both settled in Colorado Springs.

Fisher says he spent Thanksgiving with Stewart and that they were planning to watch football together on Sunday.

Fisher remembered Stewart as a funny, spirited guy. He said he would like to think that his friend died trying to save others.
