Near-drowning in Palmer Lake

charges… and the warning all parents need to hear tonight. how did it get this bad? good evening, and thanks for joing us. i’m heather skold. and i’m james jarman. we’ll get to the sexting scandal in canon city in just a minute.. but first.. a life saving rescue at palmer lake tonight. a man was pulled from the cold water this evening… palmer lake is northwest of monument … we’ve learned the man’s wife called 9-1… krdo newschannel 13’s greg miller live from the fire station tonight. new at ten o’clock… greg — quick action on the part of rescuers, may have saved this man’s life .. james, heather the call came in at around 7:30 from the man’s wife who was afraid she had drowned.? firefighters say they were able to find him relatively fast. the man was alive though when they got to him. we’re told the lake is typically quiet on a dark cold night like tonight. investigators say he had fishing equipment nearby. the man was taken to a nearby hospital and is in critical condition. live
