Veterans Day parades scheduled for Saturday

Veterans Day parades will be held in Colorado Springs and Pueblo on Saturday morning.

The Colorado Springs parade begins at 10 a.m. at the intersection of Tejon St. and St. Vrain St. From there, it travels south to the intersection of Tejon St. and Vermijo Ave.

In addition to street parking, parking garages are available at Nevada & Kiowa, Nevada & Colorado and Cascade & Bijou.

More than 90 registered military and veteran groups will march in this year’s parade.

The Pueblo Veteran’s Day Parade is also scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday. It will begin at the intersection of Union Ave. and B St. and travel north toward City Center Dr. and then left on Main St.

Pueblo’s parade will feature a flyover by DOSS Aviation.
