High Fire Danger Thursday 10-16-19
TONIGHT: Clear to partly cloudy with lows cooling to the 30s and 40s.
EXTENDED: Fire weather watches are in place for parts of Southern Colorado tomorrow. This is due to the potential for elevated to critical fire danger levels. These will likely be upgraded to Red Flag Warnings in the next 24 hours so we will keep you posted. Thursday also looks windy, warm and sunny. The first of two cold fronts arrives on Friday which will drop our highs to the 50s and 60s. It will also bring the chance for a handful of showers with some snowflakes mixing in over the mountains. We dry out on Saturday and The second of two fronts moves in on Sunday which will bring us an even larger drop in temps. Both rain and snow are likely, but as of right now, it doesn’t look to be too problematic. We will keep you updated on any forecast changes.
