PUEBLO WEST, Colo. (KRDO) -- The Federal Bureau of Investigation confirmed agents are executing search warrants at a Pueblo West business.

Thursday morning, the FBI said they were conducting searches at Singleton Sheet Metal at 397 E. Industrial Blvd.

Business owners in the area say multiple FBI agents arrived around 6 a.m. They stayed through Thursday afternoon, going in and out of the building.

KRDO reached out to the owner of Singleton Sheet Metal Works, Heather Singleton, who said she has no comment regarding the FBI search.

The Pueblo County Sheriff's Office assisted in the search by temporarily blocking off a portion of Industrial Blvd. That road has since opened.

One nearby business owner told KRDO he was surprised to find FBI agents searching Singleton Sheet Metal Works.

Rory Huskin said he heard FBI agents announce themselves and say they had a federal warrant before addressing people inside the building.

"They said, 'Everybody come out with your hands up,'" Huskin explained. After that, he said he heard what he described as large booms and smoke coming from that area.

KRDO is working to confirm why federal agents searched the Pueblo West business. At this time, the FBI said no arrests have been made.
