Vigil for Charleston shooting victims in Pueblo

investigating a website that appears to have photos of the charleston church shooting suspect holding a confederate flag along with a racist rant. it’s unclear whether the man arrested in the killing of nine people earlier this week… dylann roof… owned the website. the writings are however in line with roof told his friends leading up to the shooting. the f-b-i is aware of the website and are investigating it. natural sound people gathered in south carolina to call for the state to remove the confederate flag from its state house grounds today… hundreds chanted and held up signs calling for the controversial flag to be removed from its spot in front of the state house. amongst those demonstrations and gatherings – a vigil in pueblo. the shooting in charleston rings home for one pastor. as parishioners of an a-m-e church in the steel city came together – some can’t help but wonder if decades of progress in race relations have been thwarted. the question now – what’s next. and let me help you understand why we don’t fight. we pray. the power of prayer… vital for these faithful at the first a-m-e church in pueblo. what our faith tells us to do, is to trust god in the midst of it all. a faith they kling to … as they reflect on the past… the church bombing in alabama… here we go again. we thought we were past al of this but we see that we still havea long way to go. …and how to move forward. the families have already given us a message. they already forgave the perpetrator of this horrific crime. joing together in prayer… just like the nine who were killed wednesday night. it is my prayer that the world sees that we are all one family and much of the work done here in pueblo positions us to be a model of community relations across the entire world. first a-m-e- is a sister church
