‘Boo at the Zoo’ will be open for seven nights at the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- The Cheyenne Mountain Zoo (CMZ) will host its Halloween event "Boo at the Zoo" for seven nights this October.

The CMZ says that Boo at the Zoo is a way for families to trick-or-treat and enjoy Halloween festivities while visiting their favorite zoo animals.

Attendees are encouraged to dress up and bring a trick-or-treat bag.

Advanced tickets are required. CMZ anticipates that some nights will sell out and recommends getting tickets early.

The event will run from 4 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Fri., Oct., 21 through Sun., Oct. 23. Then from Fri., Oct. 28 through Mon., Oct. 31.
