Pueblo teens could face more charges in I-25 rock-throwing case

Three teenagers accused of throwing rocks at cars on Interstate 25 Tuesday night could potentially face more charges, Pueblo police say.

Three 16- and 17-year-olds were arrested after the incident. Police said they were throwing rocks from an overpass near the Abriendo exit. At least 15 cars were damaged.

The preliminary charges include property damage and reckless endangerment.

The damages are estimated at around $13,000, but police believe that more vehicles might have been damaged. If the damages total more than $20,000, the teens could face a class 3 felony criminal mischief charge.
