Colorado Springs shooting victim identified
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- An autopsy has been completed on a Colorado Springs shooting victim from July 6, 2022.
On July 6, 2022, CSPD received a report of a shooting at the El Morro Mobile Home Park.
The El Paso County Coroner's Office (ECCO) identified the victim as 19-year-old Santiago Calleros.
The ECCO will determine the cause of death but, at this time the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) is investigating it as a homicide.
According to CSPD, Calleros’ death is the 27th homicide investigation in the City of Colorado Springs in 2022. At this time last year, the CSPD investigated 21 homicides in the City of Colorado
Springs.
