Pueblo Police: Suspect dead, officer with minor injuries following shooting near Fountain Creek
PUEBLO, Colo. (KRDO) -- A suspect is dead after an officer-involved shooting along the Fountain Creek in Pueblo Wednesday.
The Pueblo Police Department (PPD) told KRDO that the incident happened just after 3 p.m. According to the PPD, officers found the suspect near Fountain Creek who then shot at officers.
According to police, one officer was hit and has minor injuries. The suspect is dead.
The PPD originally reported the shooting happened near the Walmart Supercenter at 4200 Dillion Drive.
