250 Fort Carson soldiers welcomed home

250 soldiers from the 4th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division were welcomed home by their families at 9:45 Friday evening.

The soldiers were returning from a 9 month deployment to southern Afghanistan, in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. During their deployment, they provided assistance to Afghan National Security Forces during Afghanistan’s presidential and run-off elections.
