Colorado Springs hits 3-time record-high temperature for June 13
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- Monday, the National Weather Service (NWS) in Pueblo recorded a record-high temperature in Colorado Springs.
According to the NWS in Pueblo, June 13 set a 92-degree temperature back in 1952, 1956, and 2006.
The NWS in Pueblo says a new record is likely.
At 12 pm, the temperature in Colorado Springs was already 92 degrees! This ties the record high temperature for June 13th, of 92 degrees set in 1952, 1956 and 2006. However, with several more hours of heating, a new record high temperature will be likely! #cowx pic.twitter.com/rv41KtqUlf
