Motorcyclist killed in weekend crash identified

Colorado Springs police have released the name of a motorcyclist who was killed in a crash Saturday night (11/1/14).

The accident happened around 11 p.m. at the intersection of Pikes Peak Avenue and Union Boulevard.

The driver of the motorcycle, Ozzie K. Rowe, 28 , was killed after the bike caught fire and burned.

Police said Rowe was speeding and ran a red light.

The car that hit the motorcycle then crashed into a pole. The driver was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
