Pedestrian hurt in Colorado Springs hit and run

Colorado Springs police are looking for the driver in a hit and run that happened Monday night near the intersection of South Academy and Astrozon Boulevards.

Police said an intoxicated man walked into the intersection and laid down. That is when a vehicle ran him over. But the driver took off, police said.

The victim suffered injuries to his lower body, but police said he is expected to survive.
