KRDO’s Thursday Pet of the Week
KRDO’s Pet of the Week, brought to you by the Humane Society and High Country Veterinary Hospital.
He’ll put a spell on you. This is Binx and he is your KRDO pet of the week from Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region! He is a one-year-old black domestic shorthair cat that came to HSPPR as an owner surrender and now I’m looking for my new home.
Binx is a sweet cat, but he can be a little shy in the shelter setting. He will need time to adjust to his new home. Placing him in his own room with food, water, bed, toys, scratching post, litter box, and hiding spots will help him adapt. Once Binx has acclimated to the room, a slow introduction to other animals and the rest of the house can begin.
Dogs make Binx uncomfortable so he may do best in a home without any dogs in the home.
