WINDS TAPER OFF THIS EVENING

4-12 high winds

Strong winds have been reported south of the Arkansas river valley where blowing dust has reduced visibility on area roads and several overturned semis in I-25.

TONIGHT: Strong winds taper off after 7pm and more off and on breezes still likely overnight with much colder temps settling in as we bottom out in the teens and twenties before sunrise.

TOMORROW: Much cooler with highs in the 30's and 40's and a brisk northwest wind 15-25 mph. a few snow flurries possible for higher terrain areas west of I-25. Accumulations of less than an inch on grassy surfaces.

EXTENDED: Chilly and breezy conditions ahead for Thursday and Friday. Temperatures begin to warm by Friday... with highs climbing into the upper-60s and mid-70s Saturday and Sunday.
