Springs kidnapping suspects arrested in Kansas

Colorado Springs Police say a pair of kidnapping suspects has been taken into custody in central Kansas.

Nicholas Heraldo Archuleta, 24, and James Manton Brown Jr., 23, were arrested in Ellsworth, Kansas.

Police say they believe the men are behind a June 17 kidnapping that happened at Cottonwood Creek Park, which is in the 7000 block of Rangewood Drive.

Police say two men kidnapped an unknown age male at gunpoint. They say the victim was dropped back off at the park after complying with the kidnappers’ demands.

Archuleta and Brown are facing charges of 2nd degree kidnapping and felony menacing.
