Missing Springs Vietnam vet found safe

A missing Colorado Springs man has been found safe, according to his family.

Albert Tumblin, a Vietnam War veteran, was located Monday afternoon.

The 83-year-old had last been seen by family members on Friday as he was driving toward his bank.

Colorado Springs police confirm an officer pulled over Tumblin around 4 a.m. Saturday on suspicion of DUI but later released him. Tumblin was not reported missing until 9 o’clock that morning.

His family members tell KRDO a retired state trooper found Tumblin yesterday in Pueblo and reunited him with his loved ones.
