3 displaced after early morning duplex fire

The Pueblo Fire Department is investigating an early morning fire Saturday (4/26/14) that displaced three people.

It happened shortly before 5 a.m. in the 1600 block of W. 20th St.

Fire officials say the fire destroyed one unit of a duplex. The other unit sustained smoke damage.

No one was home in the destroyed unit when it caught fire. Two people in the other unit escaped the fire through a window.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
