Car Crashes Into House

Colorado Springs police say a driver heading southbound on Chelton Road crashed into a house on the corner of Bijou Street Friday night.

The vehicle destroyed a fence and hit a house, but the home was not damaged.

People inside the home at the time were not hurt.

The driver of the SUV was taken to the hospital, but was not injured.

Alcohol is suspected in the accident.
