Colorado Springs Police arrest wrong way driver

Colorado Springs Police arrested a man they believe was intoxicated, driving the wrong way in traffic and confused about where he was.

According to police, a man was driving his vehicle northbound in the southbound lanes of I-25 and South Academy Boulevard around two-thirty Wednesday morning (1/29/14).

Police said one officer tried to stop the vehicle, but when the attempt failed, a second officer was able to get onto the interstate,avoid traffic and catch up to the man.

Police then pulled the man over. They said the man was drunk and surprised to find out he was in Colorado Springs. He thought he was in the Denver-Metro area.
