Fort Carson NCO arrested
A Command Sergeant Major who is stationed at the Mountain Post has been arrested on several charges, including child abuse.
Command Sergeant Major Jerry Lambert is with the 10th Special Forces Group.
Woodland Park arrested CSM Lambert on the evening of November 23, 2013.
Police say someone in a home on Crestview Way in Woodland Park called them around 4:30 Saturday afternoon to report a domestic assault. When police arrived they found Lambert’s 82-year-old mother-in-law with minor injuries. Police say Lambert and his wife are caregivers for the woman.
Teller County Sheriff’s Office web site says CSM Lambert is facing charges for crimes against adults or juveniles, third degree assault and child abuse.
