Third red light camera installed in Pueblo

Cameras are snapping photos of alleged red light runners at a third Pueblo intersection.

The newest camera has been installed at the intersection of Prairie Avenue and Northern Avenue. Police say that between now and December 18, 2013, warning tickets will be mailed to people caught running red lights at the intersection. After that, $75.00 citations will be sent out.

The other two intersections in Pueblo that have red light cameras are Prairie Avenue at Thatcher Avenue and Highway 50 Bypass at Norwood Avenue.

Police say the cameras are placed at intersections with a high number of red light violations or safety concerns.
